Mountain Memories

As we are saying good-bye to North Carolina soon, we have very mixed emotions. Moonshine Creek Campground has felt like home for quite a while but now our wandering hearts are feeling a tug north. So we will say “see ya later” to these NC mountains. Workamping will be put on hold so we can travel and explore more of this wide world. We will always treasure the time we’ve spent, the people we’ve met and the memories that were made in the mountains at Moonshine Creek!

And all the creatures: chipmunks, hummingbirds, turkeys and even a bear this year
Beauty around every bend
These mountains! Thanks for all the memories…
On to the next adventure, but you know we’ll be back!

  1. Thank you for the memories. I grew up in NC going to the mountains every summer for camp at Camp Tekoa and Lake Junaluska for conferences. This area of the world is so peaceful and inspiring. How long did you workamp there?
