Our stay in Oklahoma has been relaxing and busy, productive and yet not stressful (except for maybe our quick visit to the tornado shelter ????)
We have completed a puzzle and played multiple games of Dutch Blitz (Mark is the reigning champion.)
We have enjoyed Mom’s garden tomatoes and cucumbers
and also Braums $1 frozen yogurt cones, sea salt caramel cashew ice cream,
Sonic Cherry Limeades and a delicious Taco Bueno lunch.
We have also discovered and binge-watched multiple seasons of “Poldark” on Amazon Prime Video.
Mom and I have completed a couple of sewing projects:
New storage bags for our leveling blocks.
And some covers for our couch and recliners.
It got a little chilly…
The week started out in the 80s and ended up in the 60s.
We visited Tinker Air Force Base …
where I got my military ID renewed and we shopped at the BX and Commissary.
It looks and feels like Winter is coming – but we must go towards South Dakota.
We head to Nebraska next!
Now I feel like I’ve had a wee little visit. Thanks to you. ????
